In Tennessee, children of full-time certified public school teachers are eligible for a 25% discount on undergraduate tuition at state-operated institutions of higher learning. The teacher must be certified by the TDOE and employed by any local board of education. Children of retired state employees with 25 years of service, or who died while employed by the state, are also eligible. Tuition discount form can be found here.
