The Weakley County Schools Arts Festival

The Weakley County Schools Arts Festival is a celebration of creativity and imagination in music and the arts through the talents of students representing all ages in all 10 of Weakley County's schools. The annual event highlights categories of painting, drawing, photography, as well as 3D, Sculpture, or Mixed Media. The festival boasts the interesting Upcycled Exhibition, which is the practice of repurposing unwanted objects or items in order to turn it into to a creative piece of genius. Upcycled this year included Guitars As Art. Incredible live music was provided by talented students who attend Weakley County Schools. The 2024 Arts Festival was held at Dresden High School on Saturday, April 27th from 10:30-1PM.
