Weakley County Schools

Printed learning engagement materials were initially distributed at meal sites.

The Weakley County Press has now gifted the school system with a page to provide further suggestions. Aimed specifically at those in the county without access to the internet, the activities are appearing weekly in the newspaper. For those with internet access, we are offering the pages as download options here.

Weakley Arts Can, a nonprofit arts advocacy group, also compiled weekly arts-based activities for the paper and online during the closure. Those items are also available for download here.

When the Press offered to continue the gifted page during the summer, a new team of teachers was enlisted to continue providing learning engagement activities. Their work begins at Week 8.
